The electronic Interface processes the signals detected by the catheter’s impedance and temperature sensor. The impedance sensor has dual nature as it detects simultaneously whole blood impedance as well as intracavitary ECG.

HemoCard Vision® captures a full set of impedance and core body temperature measurements each 40 ms. The impedance components are then converted into hematocrit and whole blood viscosity. The ECG signal is detected each 10 ms or each 1 ms depending on the measurement mode.
